Anna's Bridal Portraits

We took these bridal portraits of Anna in March, before it started getting so dang hot!  Anna and Luke married in mid-May in Austin, TX (pictures from their big day coming soon...), so we decided we'd do the bridal portraits in Austin as well.  We discussed several different locations, but decided to start at Laguna Gloria, and end at the Texas State Capitol.

Laguna Gloria is an ideal place to take bridal portraits.  There are so many places to photograph, both inside and outside.  The grounds around the main building are perfectly kept, and inside there is plenty of warm, beautiful window light.  This site was the original home of the Austin Museum of Art, and is still owned and operated by the museum.

Anna looked gorgeous in her dress, and we had fun working with everything Laguna Gloria and the Capitol had to offer us.  Here are some of my favorites from the shoot.

I'll be posting soon about their beautiful wedding day.  Stay tuned...

Kelly's Bridal Portrait (Part One)

I hope everyone had a great weekend!  I just wanted to make a quick post before I head home.  This is one of the portraits from Kelly's Bridal Portrait session.  Kelly and Callaway got married in early March, and their wedding was beautiful.  We took Kelly's bridal portraits on a rainy day in February, at First Presbyterian Church.  Kelly and the church are both so beautiful, which sure made my job very easy!

I'll post more of the photos from the shoot tomorrow or later this week, but I wanted to go ahead and get this one posted.  This is the photo she and her mom chose to have on display at the wedding.

More to come soon from Kelly's Bridal Portrait Shoot.  Have a great night!

Senior Portrait Favorites from 2009

Well, I've been meaning to make this post for a long time, so here we go.  Here are a few of my favorite Senior Portraits from 2009...

Senior Portraits specials will begin in May, so stay tuned after the spring!

To come, I had a wonderful afternoon taking Erin and Daniel's engagement portraits at Herman Park and the Museum area.  We had a lot of fun, and got some great photos.  I'll be posting some of those soon!
