Here is an engagement portrait session from this past summer with my good friends Sally and Mac, who got married this past July in Biloxi, Mississippi. We had a blast together, and perfect weather for our shoot at Washington on the Brazos (the birthplace of Texas), outside of Houston.
Also, congratulations to two other great friends, Christine and Nate, who are getting married today. I will not be photographing this one, just enjoying it! But I did get to take Christine's bridal portraits in late December, and I cannot wait to post them. We did a session at Enchanted Rock outside of Fredricksburg, Texas. Photos will be up on the blog soon!
Here are some of my favorites from Sally and Mac's engagement shoot.
Today, Kelsey and Matt's wedding was featured on Weddings In Houston Blog! You can check it out here: http://houstonweddingblog.com/2011/12/kelsey-matthew’s-petal-perfect-country-club-wedding/
The wedding was beautiful, and we had such a great time working with Kelsey and Matt. Enjoy!
We are excited to have Kate and J.J.'s wedding featured on Style Me Pretty's blog today! You can check it out here: http://www.stylemepretty.com/2011/09/07/the-bayou-club-wedding-by-keely-thorne-events/
In May I photographed Elizabeth and Brett for their engagement portraits. We had great time walking along North and South Blvd., then made our way to the Sculpture Garden across from the Museum of Fine Arts to end the shoot. Elizabeth and Brett are wonderful people, and I'm so glad I got to work with them for their wedding. They married on June 25th, at First Presbyterian Church...I'll be posting more about that later. For now, here are some of my favorites from their engagement shoot.
Today, Beth and Judd's beautiful wedding was featured on 7Centerpieces blog! We posted about Beth and Judd's wedding a couple months ago, you can view that post here. Hope y'all enjoy 7Centerpieces, it's a great new blog!
At the end of March I photographed a gorgeous wedding at the Bayou Club. You might remember Kate and J.J. from their engagement shoot at Kate's family ranch, or from one of my more recent posts about the Bahamas! I've had such a wonderful time getting to know them, and it has been a true honor to document this very special time in their lives.
We had perfect weather for their beautiful outdoor ceremony. Kate and J.J. chose to marry under a large oak tree, and the reception was tented by SPF. Kristin McShane with Keely Thone Events did an incredible job making sure everything went off without a hitch (as she and all of their team always do). Events and Bloom's flowers and decor and Pro/Sound's lighting created the perfect atmosphere, while 31 Films was there to film the weekend. Sauce brought the house down, with a special guest appearance by groom J.J. and his brother Greg. The delicious cakes were created by the incredibly talented Susie's Cakes...can you believe that Yankee's Stadium?? Stationary and invitations were by Sicily Eason, and bridesmaid dresses were by Bella Bridesmaids. Ceremony music was provided by Divisi Strings.
It was an unforgettable weekend to witness and capture. I hope y'all will enjoy all of the photos below. I've also included a little time lapse movie from their ceremony that I already posted a month or two ago...check it out if you haven't already.
Thank you, Kate and J.J.!
